Featured in both the 2006 retrospective exhibition and catalogue entitled “Paintings From The Street”, Boca Raton Museum of Art, FL (label verso).

Behold the saviour – adorned in Byzantine halo, the prophetic rider has arrived. This mixed media assemblage, a celebratory fusion of line and texture, leverages the central narrative figure on horseback of its’ earlier namesake, previously featured in Joy Moos Gallery’s only catalogue on the artist. The rider and horse are accompanied by figures rendered in ink on manila folder as they gather expectantly amidst Young’s signature background wash of color – all exquisitely framed by the artist’s own efforts in a tsunami of surface exploration. Signed and formally dated as well, it is a rarity in signature style and was included in the artist’s sole museum retrospective to date and published in the accompanying catalog.
