It is the anonymous divine in full view – the face of angels viewed but unseen.  This multi dimensional masterwork from Young’s Miami studio is a study in structural technique – crowds at the forefront, figures classically positioned midwork and subtle background paint applications all combine to create an urban narrative of existential unknowing. The stakes are high in this do or die moment – with arms raised in surrender while a masked figure seemingly brandishes a threatening hand,  even the holy falters –  man is divine but human – and no mask can hide us from each other.
